Chloe Sautereau

New York-based Chloe Sautereau is an indie folk singer-songwriter who mixes folk pop with indie pop. The magnificent works of the artists such as Amy Allen, FINNEAS, and Julia Michaels influence Chloe. However, her unapologetically intimate and honest writing tone is also compared to Joni Mitchell or Norah Jones.
On May 12th, Chloe released her newest single, "Get Tou Know You Game," on all her streaming platforms. The song begins a series of stripped-back singles, highlighting the artist's vivid storytelling. In Chloe's words, the song was born out of getting lost in trying to meet somebody.
“‘Get To Know You Game’ was born out of getting a little lost trying to meet somebody. Not knowing who you’re supposed to be or what you want anymore, in the world of dating apps and the vain search that comes with them. The repetition, losing yourself in the process, and ultimately just feeling the desire for something real. It’s driven, maybe a little more sassy than I’m used to. But it’s relentless, in a perpetual, cyclical kind of way; hopefully it’s freeing in that sense too.” -Chloe Sautereau
I relate to this song, and I have been searching for that person for me on dating apps for the past five years. I enjoyed this song not only because it's very relatable but it's also so vulnerable and intimate. Look out for more coverage in the future for Chloe's music. I would love to hear what you thought of the single; please leave a like and comment with your thoughts below.
I recommend fans of Fiona Apple and other similar female singer-songwriters to check this song out. If you enjoy it, then please leave a like and follow the links below.
Kristina Lachaga

New York-based Kristina Lachaga is an alternative country singer-songwriter who mixes folk pop with contemporary pop. She has shared the stage with many mainstream artists, including Bae Miller, Shawn Hook, Skylar Stecker, and stars from Disney and Nickelodeon at various concerts and events. She has also visited over 150 schools across the USA, spreading her #FollowYourHeartsDream and "Sticks and Stones Anti-Bullying" messages.
On April 31st, Kristina released her newest release, "Love You More," on all streaming platforms. Inspired by love that grows daily, Kristina hopes the song brings endless love and sunshine to those who listen to it.
"‘Love You More’ started as a one take voicenote on my phone and grew into the 1st ‘romance’ song I’ve ever released as my producer and I added acoustic guitar accompaniment while sitting on the floor of his bedroom at his Aunt's house.” - Kristina Lachaga, Pop Singer/Songwriter.
I enjoyed this upbeat track, and it's intimate, just like Chloe's track, as well as well-produced. However, the track is more of a commercial pop song, which doesn't take away from the quality of the track. I want to hear what you thought of the track, so please leave a like and comment below with your thoughts.
I recommend commercial and indie pop music fans to check this song out. If you enjoyed listening to the release, please like and follow the links below.
Rowan Flack

South London-based Rowan Flack is a singer-songwriter known for her introspective and accessible contemporary jazz songs with contemplative lyrics with understated, transparent vocal delivery. A jazz graduate of Trinity Laban and a former student of The Brit School, Rowan weaves her music between jazz, pop, and folk.
Rowan recently released her newest single, "Tipsy on the Tongue," on all streaming platforms. This new release shows the artist dipping her toes in a new direction with catchy pop hooks and heavy drums. However, she still honors her jazz personality with velvet vocals and layered harmonies.
“The music is inspired mainly by relationships. As I have gotten to this stage of my life, I am constantly discovering different flaws and blessings in myself and my personality. I tend to lean towards writing about communication and personal experience. 'Tipsy On The Tongue' focuses on the flaws of my personality during an argument and how two people’s love languages don’t always align.” -Rowan Flack.
The track transports me back to Aretha Franklin's days; the soul and flow of this track are impeccable. It sounds like the song was put together quickly, and I need help finding out why this single won't be played in a coffee house. I want to hear what you think of the single, so please leave a like and comment below with your thoughts.
I recommend coffee house music fans check this single out. If you like what you hear, then please leave a like and follow the links below.
Alesund

Bristol, UK-based Alesund is an alt-pop band fronted by the female vocals of British-Norwegian singer-songwriter Alba Torriset. They draw inspiration from diverse musical genres and artists; Alesund's sound is a fusion of dreamy pop hooks, atmospheric soundscapes, and alternative rock riffs. They have drawn comparisons to Kate Bush, Florence and the Machine, Aurora, and London Grammar.
On May 12th, Alesund released her newest single, "Rode of into the Sun," on all streaming platforms. This fantastic tune was made for the Summer months, championed by CLOUT and NPR. Lyrically, the song reflects the admiration of a character who knows her worth, picks herself despite adversity, and makes the best out of any situation.
“I was so impressed by a friend who had been dealt a rough hand and instead of wallowing and seeing the glass as half empty, she just dusted herself off and charged on with making the best out of her life. It was inspiring to witness and became the main theme of the song”-vocalist and lyricist Alba Torriset.
Alba's storytelling in this song is vivid and beautiful; I admire it so much. It belongs on alternative rock pop road trip playlists of all kinds. The video is excellent, and I recommend you check it out above. I will undoubtedly be covering Alesund more in the future.
